Perspective

I was off on a thought roller coaster yesterday, and woke up around midnight reeling from the ride. I managed to derail it with some old skool Miami style and New Orleans Bounce music. I realized that this trip is a cultural exchange. The Norwegian listens to typical rock & roll, whereas I listen to everything. I might just pack that Bounce cd (that happens to be so rare) just to keep me grounded in my roots while I'm in Norway. It's just a trip, and having that cd in my travel case will make me feel at home while I'm somewhere that "flick & fleck" is the language people communicate in.
