Technologically Dependent

I came home from work Friday and had plans to spend the evening finishing my Norway blog when the unexpected happened: no internet service! I thought I might go insane when I decided to call Katy so we could do something...I just couldn't bear sitting home on a Friday night, cut off from the net. I picked up the phone to call Katy and...no dial tone! Ugh! These are the things that happen as they're trying to rebuild New Orleans. I ran to the living room holding on to one last little bit of hope to still have access to the outside world (please let me have cable...please let me still have cable!). Even though I have bundled services cable was still on. There is a God! What did we do before all this technology?!
