Color Vs. Culture

My DNA results finally came in. Apparently, my great-grandmother was SOOO white! This picture illustrates the deep ancestry of the X chromosome from my maternal line all the way back to homosapien Eve. The most dominate lineage in that gene is Haplogroup H (western European in English). It's estimated to be ~40% "white". Funny, because when I look at the picture of my four grandparents (the only time they ever met), my ~20% "whiteness" is pretty obvious in the skin tone & hair texture of my grandmother compared to the other three.

All that being said, I'm still Kikuyu...it's the culture I grew up with and I embrace it, flaws & all (I really do love goat meat). No DNA test in the world is going to change that. That's my culture, & I'm sticking to it.
